strum - unity recycling center

The Strum-Unity Recycling Center is located at 320 Birch Street, Strum, WI.
Typical hours: 
    
Tue 10 - Noon                                Thu 4 pm - 7 pm                                     Sat 9 am - 1 pm
*The recycling center will be closed on major holidays that fall on weekdays such as 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. 

Recycling:
Newsprint: Must be clean and dry.  Remove plastic covering. Flatten and place in a grocery bag. No paper plates or napkins. 
Plastic Containers: Numbers 1 and 2 jugs only. Remove caps and lids and clean thoroughly.
Tin Cans/Scrap Metal: Remove labels from cans and clean thoroughly. Remove both ends, if possible.
Aluminum: Rinse out and drain please. No refunds.
Cardboard: Clean and dry Corrugated only.  Please flatten all cardboard.  No juice or milk containers.

Garbage:
Garbage is only accepted in Strum-Unity bags which are $5, and can be purchased at the Village Office, Robbe's Family Market, Countryside Cooperative and the Strum Recycling Center.
